Tripoli hosts ‘Taste of Tripoli’ to celebrate culinary heritage

The Tripoli Municipality, the ‘Tripoli My Identity’ committee, and the Tourism Committee organized the ‘Taste of Tripoli’ event to celebrate the city’s culinary heritage as a core component of its cultural and tourism identity. The event was held under the patronage of Tourism Minister Laura Lahoud.

During the event, Tripoli Mayor Abdel Hamid Karimeh emphasized that the city’s food is more than just recipes; it represents stories, memories, and the living history of the city. He noted that the culinary traditions of Tripoli are deeply connected to its people, its markets, and its historical landmarks, serving as a way to understand the city’s evolving identity through generations.
