Tripura CM Manik Saha urges youth to lead blood donation and sports initiatives
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has called on the state's youth to lead a voluntary blood donation movement and engage in social welfare and sports to help build a drug-free Tripura.
Speaking at the Netaji Subhas Regional Coaching Centre (NSRCC) on Friday, Saha inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by the Tripura Sports Council. During the event, he also unveiled marble statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Swami Vivekananda, noting that their ideals of patriotism and humanity serve as guides for society.
The Chief Minister emphasized that participating in sports and social initiatives can improve socio-economic status and strengthen both physical and mental health. He highlighted that such involvement is essential for accelerating the state's progress toward a drug-free environment.
