Tripura digital healthcare model receives national recognition

Tripura's advancements in public healthcare infrastructure and digital health services were recognized during a National Review Meeting held in Kolkata. The two-day event, organized by the National Health Authority, focused on the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

Tripura Health and Family Welfare Secretary Kiran Gitte presented the state's progress, specifically highlighting the operational framework of model civil hospitals and the implementation of digital healthcare services. The state is working toward the complete digitization of healthcare services through the Integrated Health Management Information System (IHMIS), which aims to bring all government hospitals in the state under a unified digital system.
