Trish Stratus says daughter lost interest in wrestling due to injury risks

Professional wrestler Trish Stratus shared that her daughter, Maddie, decided against pursuing a career in wrestling after learning about the physical risks involved in the sport.

After watching Stratus compete live at the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Toronto, Maddie became briefly obsessed with wrestling. However, upon learning that competitors can get injured, she decided she did not want to participate. Stratus noted that her daughter even questioned her technique, suggesting she should “dodge and weave” to avoid impact.

Stratus expressed that performing in front of her children was a significant milestone, noting that while they knew of her fame, seeing her compete in a full match was a unique experience.
