Tristan Tate, Georgiana Naghel face trial in Romania over rape and trafficking

Romanian anti‑organized crime prosecutors (DIICOT) have formally sent Tristan Tate and model‑influencer Georgiana Naghel to trial. The indictment, filed on 18 June 2026, accuses the pair of establishing an organized criminal group that trafficked women, committed continuous rape, and accessed a victim’s protected computer system without authorization. Prosecutors say Naghel illegally obtained compromising material from the system and posted it on the victim’s social‑media account, allegedly as revenge. The case also alleges that the Tate brothers recruited young women under the pretext of romantic relationships, brought them to a house in Ilfov County, and forced them to produce pornographic videos that were later distributed on adult sites. Charges include group criminal activity, continuous trafficking in persons, continuous rape, illegal computer access, and related violent offences. The trial will be heard by the Ilfov Tribunal. Naghel, a 31‑year‑old American citizen, has been described as a businesswoman and influencer who reportedly had a close association with Andrew Tate for about a year.
