Triumph Motorcycles opens voting for 2026 Originals custom build competition

Triumph Motorcycles has opened public voting for the Triumph Originals 2026 competition. This year’s contest, themed ‘Time Capsule’, features seven custom motorcycle builds based on the Scrambler lineage.

Seven teams from Canada, China, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the US are participating. Each team collaborated with a local workshop to create a one-off motorcycle inspired by a specific era of Scrambler history. The participating garages include Stockwell Design (UK), South Garage Motor (Italy), FCR Original (France), BVL Garage (China), Motos Illimitées (Canada), Tamarit (Spain), and Triumph Columbia River (US).

The winner will be determined by combining public votes with scores from an international judging panel. The panel is led by Triumph’s Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent and includes Chase McQueen, grandson of Steve McQueen, as well as various industry experts and journalists. Public voting is scheduled to close on September 22, 2026.
