Trivium announces eleventh studio album ‘Crown In The Grave’

The heavy metal band Trivium has announced the release of their eleventh studio album, ‘Crown In The Grave’, scheduled for November 20, 2026, via Roadrunner Records. The announcement includes the release of the title track and a music video directed by Pavel Trebukhin.

The album’s concept is heavily influenced by Japanese cinema and horror from the 1950s through the 1970s, specifically citing Akira Kurosawa’s ‘Throne of Blood’. This aesthetic extends to the music, lyrics, and visual identity, which features a post-apocalyptic, Noh theater-inspired setting.

This release marks a significant lineup change, as it is the first full-length album to feature Alex Rüdinger on drums. The project was recorded at ‘The Hangar’, the band’s own studio in Orlando, Florida. To support the release, the band has planned a North American tour alongside In Flames, following their current performances in Australia.
