Türk Büro-Sen pursues legal action for civil servant retirees

Nebi Yay, Chief Advisor to the President of Türk Büro-Sen, has announced ongoing legal efforts to ensure that additional payments currently granted to civil servants are also reflected in the pensions of civil servant retirees.

During visits to various institutions in Manisa, Yay noted that the additional payment, which reached approximately 22,157 TL in 2023, has not been applied to retirees, creating what he described as a significant injustice and rights violation. He stated that Türk Büro-Sen is the only union to have taken this matter to court.

Following a rejection by the Regional Administrative Court, the union has escalated the case to the Constitutional Court, arguing that the current practice violates Articles 10 and 60 of the Constitution.
