Türk Telekom wins international AI-driven network award
At the Network X event in Vienna, Austria, Türk Telekom received the ‘Outstanding Optical Transport Telco’ award for its Hubble Projector initiative. This AI-driven project, titled ‘Unified Multi-Domain Optical Transport Sensing & Proactive Quality Assurance’, utilizes artificial intelligence to monitor fiber optic infrastructure. The system proactively detects potential network disruptions and performance drops, allowing for intervention before failures occur while integrating hardware from different suppliers into a single platform.
Beyond the award, Türk Telekom received a certificate of outstanding achievement from the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) for its contributions to next-generation Wi-Fi technologies. The company also engaged in strategic discussions with the Broadband Forum (BBF) to strengthen the international role of the Türk Telekom Innovation Center.
Additionally, Türk Telekom signed a strategic R&D protocol with Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo under the Euro-Labs framework. This partnership aims to collaborate on international standardization processes for next-generation satellite communication technologies, Open RAN, and 6G network architectures.
