Turkish corporations report diverse Q3 2026 financial results

Major Turkish companies have released their third-quarter and nine-month financial results for 2026, showing a mix of growth and sector-specific challenges.

Türk Telekom reported strong performance, with consolidated revenues rising 11.9 percent year-on-year to 86.4 billion TL. The company expanded its fiber infrastructure to 592,000 km, covering 34.8 million households, and reached 33.4 million mobile subscribers. CEO Ebubekir Şahin noted that digital transformation projects accelerated revenue growth.

In the industrial sector, Şişecam achieved 195 billion TL in net sales for the first nine months, with international sales accounting for 59 percent of the total. The company completed significant investment milestones in energy and coated glass production in Tarsus, Italy, and Bulgaria.

Banking results were varied: İş Bankası maintained its position as Turkey’s largest private bank with 5.3 trillion TL in assets, while VakıfBank reported an active size exceeding 6.2 trillion TL. Burgan Bank highlighted its digital growth, reaching nearly 2 million customers through its ON Digital brand.

Automotive and manufacturing firms showed contrasting trends. Conversely, Ford Otosan reported a 33.6 percent decline in net profit for the first nine months, totaling 19.26 billion TL.
