Türk Telekom restores fiber internet access in Altındağ apartment
Residents of Bulut Apartmanı in the Altındağ district of Ankara have finally gained access to fiber internet after a seven-month delay. Although a fiber infrastructure box had been installed previously, technical issues prevented the signal from reaching the building, leaving 12 apartments without service.
Following media attention, Türk Telekom Field Operations Manager Gökhan Yıldız coordinated with technical teams to resolve the signal problem and complete the necessary installations. Residents expressed gratitude to the service provider for resolving the long-standing connectivity issue.
In general, obtaining fiber internet in buildings without existing infrastructure requires submitting requests to service providers through customer service, sales points, or online channels. Collective requests from apartment or site management can support the investment evaluation process. Providers assess these requests based on existing network proximity, technical feasibility, and investment plans. Users can verify available infrastructure at specific addresses through the inquiry systems of providers such as Türk Telekom, Turkcell Superonline, and Vodafone.
