Türkan Şoray attends festival and features in new art exhibition

Turkish cinema icon Türkan Şoray has made recent public appearances at cultural events in Turkey. She attended the 1st International Gastronomy and Viticulture Festival in Tekirdağ, where she inspected local products, including regional grapes and traditional foods. During the ‘Tekirdağ Sultan Sofrası’ event, Şoray participated in the festivities and drew significant attention from attendees.

Additionally, an art exhibition titled ‘Meeting in the Garden of Memories’ is being hosted by the Çankaya Municipality at the Zülfü Livaneli Cultural Center. The exhibition brings together the works of Şoray and painter Yalçın Gökçebağ. Running from October 1 to October 15, the showcase features Şoray’s paintings, specially designed costumes, and installations alongside recent works by Gökçebağ. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge.
