Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı denies stock market and interest allegations
The Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı (TDV) has officially denied allegations regarding its involvement in interest-based financial products, stock market investments, and liquidated investment funds. The foundation addressed these claims, which had circulated on social media and in various press outlets following recent developments in the capital markets.
According to statements highlighted on the TRT 1 program “İddiaların Aksine,” the TDV clarified that it holds no financial assets in the portfolio management companies or the specific funds currently undergoing liquidation. The foundation further rejected claims that its financial resources have suffered value losses due to market fluctuations.
TDV emphasized that its cash assets are managed in strict accordance with interest-free finance principles and relevant legislation. The organization stated that its investments do not include interest-bearing products or the stock market. The foundation noted that these allegations aim to create misinformation and undermine public trust in religious institutions.
