Türkiye expands global market share in luxury wedding and MICE tourism

Türkiye is strengthening its position as a premier global destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) and luxury wedding tourism. The country leverages its robust tourism infrastructure, high-standard luxury hotels, and extensive international flight networks to remain highly competitive.

Bünyat Özpak, co-founder of Inventum Global and the International MICE and Wedding Forum, noted a significant increase in demand for Indian weddings hosted in Türkiye. This trend is particularly driven by the Indian diaspora residing in the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and the Middle East.

During the 9th International Wedding, Congress, and Meeting Tourism Forum (IMWF 2026) held in Didim, Aydın, industry representatives, hotel managers, and travel agencies gathered to foster international collaborations. Özpak stated that the sector's growth is supported by large-scale investments and strategic partnerships between international firms, hotels, and airlines.
