Türkiye İş Bankası launches Bilim Fabrikası digital learning platform

Türkiye İş Bankası has introduced Bilim Fabrikası, a free digital learning platform designed to support the education and discovery experiences of primary and secondary school students. Developed in collaboration with Imona Technologies, the platform utilizes an interactive approach where children learn through experiments, tasks, and educational games rather than through reading alone.

The platform covers various themes, including mathematics, circuit design, logic puzzles, chemistry, biology, and agriculture. It offers 12 different competition areas featuring simulations, logic puzzles, and strategic tasks, such as block-based coding in robotics and drag-and-drop circuit building.

A unique social feature allows students to select their cities, contributing points to their local area's score as they complete tasks, creating a competitive atmosphere between different regions. The content was developed based on feedback from the Teacher Network (Öğretmen Ağı) of the Education Reform Initiative (ERG) to ensure it serves as a functional resource for teachers to enrich their classroom lessons.
