Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik reach 791.7 billion TL in assets

Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik have marked their sixth year of operation by reaching a combined total asset size of 791.7 billion TL as of the end of June. The companies have served a total of 13.3 million customers over the six-year period.

In the non-life insurance sector, the companies recorded 72.5 million policies and 432.3 billion TL in premium production. Within the life insurance branch, they achieved 88.3 billion TL in premium production and 59 million policies. Additionally, the Private Pension System (BES) and Automatic Enrollment System (OKS) reached a fund size of 531 billion TL with 6.3 million contracts.

Taha Çakmak, General Manager of Türkiye Sigorta, stated that the companies aim to make insurance more accessible to all segments of society. He noted that Türkiye Sigorta increased its premium production by 30 percent to 94.2 billion TL, while Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik saw a 52 percent increase in the life branch, reaching 23.4 billion TL.
