TRM Labs and Lyte secure significant funding for AI and robotics

TRM Labs, a blockchain analysis firm, has doubled its valuation to $2 billion following an additional Series C funding round led by Blockchain Capital. The company, which provides solutions for tracking and analyzing fund flows on blockchains to detect fraud and money laundering, plans to use the new capital to develop an AI-based criminal investigation platform. TRM Labs currently serves over 600 government and private institutions across 75 countries.

In the robotics sector, Lyte has raised $165 million in a Series C round led by Maverick Silicon, bringing its post-money valuation to $1.6 billion. Lyte develops sensing and AI platforms for robots operating in complex real-world environments. Their integrated platform, LyteVision, combines 4D sensing, RGB imagery, and inertial measurement data at the edge to reduce latency and calibration issues for autonomous mobile robots, robotic arms, and humanoids.
