Trần Cẩm Tú and Da Nang officials meet with voters

Standing Committee Member Trần Cẩm Tú and the Da Nang National Assembly delegation held a voter contact session across several wards, including Hai Chau, Hoa Cuong, Thanh Khe, An Hai, and Son Tra, ahead of the 16th National Assembly's second session.

During the meeting, Da Nang City Secretary Lê Ngọc Quang reported significant economic progress, noting that the city's GRDP grew by 10.31% in the first nine months of the year, ranking 9th nationally and 3rd among centrally managed cities. In the third quarter alone, growth reached 11.83%. Budget revenue for the nine-month period has already exceeded the annual estimate, with a target of over 90 trillion VND for the year.

Addressing local concerns, officials discussed solutions for educational bottlenecks, such as increasing school capacity for boarding and two-session teaching models. The city is also focusing on upgrading school facilities, developing social housing, and maintaining free health check-ups. Regarding administration, the city aims to simplify procedures and improve the efficiency of the two-level local government model to reduce bureaucracy for citizens. Additionally, Da Nang is utilizing the ‘Da Nang Smart City’ application to enhance public service responsiveness.
