Trần Thanh Tâm supports 25 children through foster care and mentorship

Trần Thanh Tâm, born in 1984 in Ho Chi Minh City, has become a father figure to 25 children he did not biologically father. Many of these children face difficult circumstances, including the loss of one or both parents.

Driven by his own childhood experience of being abandoned by his father at age 17, Tâm has dedicated himself to supporting vulnerable youth. A decade ago, he walked across all 63 provinces of Vietnam to assist children in need.

He also established the “Secret Mailbox of Uncle and His Children” project. This initiative provides a platform for children to express difficult emotions regarding their parents, allowing Tâm to offer empathy and guidance based on his own past struggles.
