Trấn Thành shares journey from family bankruptcy to success

Vietnamese entertainer and director Trấn Thành has shared details regarding his difficult upbringing and rise to success. Born in 1987 in Ho Chi Minh City, he comes from a working-class family that faced significant financial hardship, including a period of bankruptcy.

Trấn Thành described a childhood marked by instability, noting that his family once had to rely on the hospitality of relatives due to their precarious living situation. His father worked various jobs, including delivery services and industrial machine repair, to support the family.

Having begun earning his own money as early as the 10th grade, Trấn Thành became the primary provider for his family through his career in the arts. He has attributed his current success to his early independence and lifelong dedication to the performing arts.
