Trnava region implements road changes and major reconstruction

Several infrastructure and traffic changes are being implemented in the Trnava district of Slovakia.

In the Modranka district of Trnava, a 100-meter section of Bosniacka Street will become a one-way street starting August 28. This measure aims to ease morning traffic congestion caused by vehicles traveling to nearby schools and to improve safety and accessibility for local residents. The change has been approved by the District Traffic Inspectorate.

Additionally, a major reconstruction of a 3.5-kilometer stretch of second-class road between Trstín and Naháč is scheduled to begin on August 31 and continue until December 15. The project, managed by the Trnava Self-Governing Region and executed by Colas Slovakia, involves laying new asphalt, repairing base layers, and fixing culverts and ditches. The total cost of the project exceeds 1.16 million euros. During the construction period, traffic will be restricted to alternating single-lane passage, which is expected to cause delays.
