Trnava to receive 200,000 euros following Pracháreň reconstruction settlement

The city of Trnava will receive 200,000 euros from the contractor responsible for the reconstruction of the Pracháreň, a national cultural monument. This amount consists of 100,000 euros for non-removable errors and 100,000 euros to settle all other disputed claims.

The total cost of the reconstruction for the historic building, which served as a gunpowder store in the past, exceeded 4.9 million euros. While the city has not released the specific list of defects, the settlement aims to resolve outstanding issues following delays that pushed the building's actual use to the summer of 2026. The site is intended to host a new municipal theater named ‘Pracháreň’.
