TRNC to open first autism center for adults on September 28

Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, the Minister of Labour and Social Security, announced that a new autism center for individuals over the age of 18 is scheduled to open on September 28. This facility will be the first of its kind in the TRNC and is specifically designed to serve individuals with severe autism while providing families with respite care.

Additionally, the Minister addressed matters regarding child protection. He stated that the health of nine-month-old twins, who were placed under state protection following allegations of violence, is being monitored. He also noted that efforts are underway to ensure a safe and stable environment for a child in Geçitkale who recently lost their mother.
