Trịnh Hồng Mạnh appointed principal of Đức Đồng school

Trịnh Hồng Mạnh, formerly the Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Đức Thọ commune in Hà Tĩnh, has been appointed as the principal of Đức Đồng Primary and Secondary School.

Mr. Mạnh stated that while he had previously expressed a desire to return to educational management following local government restructuring, he did not expect to be assigned to Đức Đồng. He noted that the appointment was an organizational decision based on his extensive experience in the education sector, including previous roles at various high schools and as a head of the Đức Thọ District Department of Education and Training.

Addressing public controversy regarding the selection process, Mr. Mạnh indicated he was unaware of specific criticisms prior to accepting the role. He explained that following the merger of three schools to form the new institution, the local authorities sought external personnel to fill the vacant principal position, selecting him due to his long-standing management expertise.
