Trịnh Mỹ Anh replaced as Miss Earth Water 2025

The Miss Earth organization has appointed Nathalie Briones of Chile as Miss Earth Water 2025, a title previously held by Vietnam’s Trịnh Mỹ Anh. The announcement follows Trịnh Mỹ Anh’s recent participation in Miss Universe Vietnam 2026, where she secured the first runner-up position.

While initial reports suggested Trịnh Mỹ Anh might have been stripped of her title for violating regulations—specifically a rule prohibiting titleholders from competing in other pageants during their term—the Miss Earth license holder in Vietnam has provided clarification. Phạm Duy Khánh, representing the local license holder, stated that the international organization did not strip her of the title. Instead, he explained that the Miss Earth organization had planned to appoint an additional person to fulfill the role of crowning the successor, a move that was communicated to the Vietnamese representatives in advance of her participation in Miss Universe Vietnam.

Trịnh Mỹ Anh, a 2003-born beauty queen from Hanoi, previously held the title of Miss Earth Vietnam 2025 third runner-up. Her environmental projects have focused on electronic waste recycling.
