Trofa Volunteer Firefighters receive 10 new vehicles for 50th anniversary

The Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros Voluntários da Trofa is marking its 50th anniversary with a significant expansion of its operational resources. On October 4, the institution will receive 10 new vehicles and new personal protective equipment (EPI) during a commemorative ceremony presided over by Rui Rocha, the Secretary of State for Civil Protection.

The new fleet includes three pre-hospital emergency ambulances, two non-urgent patient transport vehicles, an aerial ladder platform, a command vehicle (VCOT), a light fire combat vehicle, a forest fire combat vehicle (VFCI), and a special rescue and assistance vehicle (VSAE).

Funding for the acquisition was provided through the association's own resources and support from various partners and companies, including Saner, Metais Jaime Dias, Trofa Saúde, Proef/Eurico Ferreira, Brasmar/Metalogalva, and the Trofa Municipal Council.
