Trofeo Luigi Fagioli prepares for 61st hillclimb event in Gubbio

The 61st Trofeo Luigi Fagioli, a renowned hillclimb racing event often referred to as the ‘Monte Carlo of Hillclimbs,’ is preparing for its upcoming competition weekend from August 21 to 23.

Preparatory activities begin on August 12 with the opening of the exhibition ‘I favolosi sessanta,’ which explores the history of the Umbrian hillclimb. A formal presentation of the event program, including logistics and new initiatives, is scheduled for August 20 at Palazzo Pretorio in Gubbio.

The racing weekend will feature the first ‘final’ of the Campionato Italiano Supersalita and will be broadcast live on ACI Sport TV. The event also hosts the Campionato Italiano Velocità Montagna (CIVM) North and South, the Campionato Italiano Bicilindriche, and the Challenge Assominicar, alongside the Coppa Città di Gubbio for historic cars.
