Troizina: Man arrested for arson after vehicle fires

Authorities in Troizina have arrested a 40-year-old man for intentional arson. The incident occurred around 04:09 on a Monday morning when the suspect allegedly set fire to a parked vehicle. The flames quickly spread to two adjacent parked cars, causing significant material damage.

Following an investigation by the Argolida Fire Service and assistance from the Arson Crimes Unit (DAEE), the man was apprehended and reportedly confessed to the act. Investigators are now examining the suspect's potential involvement in nine other arson incidents that occurred between September and December 2024, which involved road verges, trash bins, and vehicles.
