Anton Grahn wins men's rollerski sprint in Trollhättan

The rollerski World Cup season opened in Trollhättan, Sweden, with Swedish athletes securing major victories in the sprint events. Anton Grahn won the men’s senior skate sprint, finishing with a significant margin despite a chaotic race. The final was marked by the disqualification of Swedish star Edvin Anger, who received two yellow cards—one for a false start and another for obstruction. Amund Korsæth of Norway secured third place on the podium, followed by Latvia’s Raimo Vigants in second.

In the women’s senior category, Johanna Hagström dominated the competition, winning from the prologue through to the final. She finished over one and a half seconds ahead of Gina Del Rio from Andorra, while Sweden’s Elin Henriksson took third place.

The Trollhättan Action Week continues through the weekend, featuring the Alliansloppet long-distance race. The schedule includes 32 km classic races for juniors and 48 km classic races for seniors, which also serves as part of the Ski Classics Challenger series.
