TRON DAO joins Brazilian authorities for cryptoasset recovery forum
TRON DAO participated in a training forum in Brasília, Brazil, focused on the tracing and recovery of cryptoassets. The event, titled “Cryptoassets, From Tracing to Recovery: Cooperation for the Recovery and Custody of Cryptoassets,” was organized by the Digital Currencies Governance Group (DCGG) and Brazil’s National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP).
More than 100 senior officials from Brazilian regulatory, law enforcement, and judicial institutions attended, including representatives from the Central Bank of Brazil, the Federal Revenue Service, and the National Council of Justice. Discussions addressed digital crime, stablecoins, and new methods for investigating and preventing illicit activities involving digital assets.
TRON DAO representatives Sam Elfarra and John O. Hurston contributed to sessions regarding blockchain infrastructure and transaction transparency. The discussions highlighted how the transparency of public blockchain networks can assist authorities in tracing the movement of digital assets and emphasized the importance of cross-sector cooperation in the seizure and recovery of cryptoassets.
