TRON tests quantum-resistant security on Nile Testnet

TRON is testing post-quantum cryptographic protections on its Nile Testnet to fortify its architecture against potential threats from advanced quantum computing. The initiative aims to establish the platform as the first quantum-resistant blockchain network.

The testing involves the use of ML-DSA-44, a standardized algorithm developed under the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) post-quantum cryptography initiative. TRON is evaluating the application of these resistant signatures across various blockchain components, including block production, smart contract signature verification, P2P node handshakes, and wider network infrastructure.
