Troy London fashion brand ceases operations

The British fashion brand Troy London has officially ceased operations this summer, ending thirteen years of activity. Founded by sisters Lucia Ruck Keene and Rosie van Cutsem, the label focused on creating elegant clothing inspired by the British countryside.

The brand maintained a significant connection to the British Royal Family, particularly through the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. The Princess served as a prominent ambassador for the label, frequently wearing its designs during official engagements and international trips, such as a notable appearance in Canada in 2016.

The closure is also personal due to the close ties between the founders and the monarchy. Rosie van Cutsem is married to William van Cutsem, a close childhood friend of Prince William and the godfather to Prince George. The founders expressed pride in the brand's journey and its mission to capture the spirit of the countryside.
