Callum Simpson reclaims super-middleweight titles in rematch win

Callum Simpson reclaimed the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles by defeating Troy Williamson via unanimous decision in a rematch held at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

After losing his titles to Williamson in a 10th-round stoppage in December 2025, Simpson avenged the defeat by controlling much of the 12-round contest. The judges scored the bout 116-112, 117-112, and 115-113 in favor of Simpson. The fight was characterized by heavy physical exchanges, frequent clinching, and high-intensity brawling.

While Williamson showed resilience and managed to hurt Simpson in later rounds, Simpson's tactical approach and ability to maintain pressure allowed him to secure the win. The victory restores Simpson to the top of the domestic super-middleweight division and effectively clears the only professional loss on his record.
