Troye Sivan announces new album and releases music video starring Nicole Kidman

Australian pop artist Troye Sivan has announced his fourth studio album, titled ‘She’s the Best’, scheduled for release on October 9. To mark the announcement, Sivan released the album's title track alongside a music video directed by Gordon von Steiner.

The music video features a high-profile appearance by Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, who previously starred with Sivan in the 2018 film ‘Boy Erased’. The visual, inspired by 1980s queer New York, depicts Kidman as a glamorous, leather-clad figure in a club setting. The video also includes appearances by ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner Sasha Colby.

Sivan described the upcoming album and single as a ‘love letter’ to women, trans women, and the feminine spirit that has influenced his life and creativity. The track was co-written and co-produced by Sivan, George Daniel of The 1975, Jack Antonoff, Leland, and Styalz Fuego. This release marks Sivan's first major project since signing with Interscope Records.
