Troye Sivan releases fourth studio album ‘She’s the Best’

Australian pop artist Troye Sivan has released his fourth studio album, titled ‘She’s the Best’. The project marks an evolution from his previous breakthrough, ‘Something to Give Each Other’, moving toward more expansive production that incorporates larger samples, harsher vocal effects, and increased dissonance.

Sivan describes the album as both a painting and a letter, dedicated to the women in his life and a mysterious, elusive male figure. The title track’s music video features appearances by Nicole Kidman and Sasha Colby. While the album showcases Sivan’s ability to navigate complex emotions and queer identity through dance-oriented pop, some critiques suggest the songs lack the cohesive, catchy nature of his earlier work despite the high production value.
