Tàrrega debuts Envolta't festival as art promotes mental health
The Envolta't festival has launched in Tàrrega, focusing on bringing music to unique, non-traditional spaces. The inaugural event at the Arxiu Comarcal de l'Urgell, featuring Xarim Aresté, resulted in a sold-out performance. Organized by the El Galliner cultural agitation cooperative, the festival aims to blend popular musical acts with emerging artists in intimate settings.
In another cultural initiative, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili is hosting the third edition of the ‘Parelles Artístiques’ exhibition. Coordinated by the Fundació Pere Mata Terres de l'Ebre, the project uses art to promote mental health visibility and inclusion. The exhibition showcases collaborative works from thirteen pairs, each consisting of a professional artist and an individual connected to local mental health resources. The display will remain at the Campus Terres de l'Ebre until October 23 before moving to Amposta and Móra.
