Três Coroas hosts 9th State Nature Tourism Seminar
The 9th State Nature Tourism Seminar is being held in Três Coroas, Rio Grande do Sul, from Wednesday (26) to Saturday (29). The event brings together public managers, professionals, students, and entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges and opportunities of nature tourism, with a focus on sustainable development and safety practices.
Organized by the Brazilian Association of Tourismologists and Tourism Professionals (ABBTUR-RS) and the Brazilian Association of Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism Companies (ABETA), with support from the Três Coroas City Hall, the seminar includes lectures, panels, and technical visits. Três Coroas is a prominent destination for adventure sports, particularly rafting on the Paranhana River.
A special lecture on ‘Experience Tourism’ by Ivane Fávero will be open to the community on Thursday evening at the Três Coroas Cultural Center. Other topics include accessibility in tourism and wildlife observation tourism.
