Três Fronteiras to host 16th OAB SP/CAASP fishing championship

The 16th OAB SP/CAASP State Fishing Championship is scheduled to take place on October 10 and 11 in Três Fronteiras, São Paulo. Held at the Recanto Rio Paraná Holiday Colony, the competition focuses exclusively on tucunaré fishing using a catch-and-release system.

Organized by the Sports and Leisure sector of the Caixa de Assistência dos Advogados de São Paulo (CAASP), the event allows teams of up to three members, including mixed-gender groups. To participate, at least one team member must be a lawyer regularly registered with the OAB SP and in good standing with their annual fees. The registration fee is R$ 300 per team and includes participant t-shirts.

Competition rules permit the registration of up to five fish per team each day, provided they exceed 25 centimeters in length. Fábio Mariz, director of the CAASP Sports and Leisure sector, noted that the championship aims to promote integration, sports, and environmental preservation among lawyers from different regions of the state.
