Três Lagoas advances urban drainage and paving works
Três Lagoas is undergoing several urban infrastructure projects focused on drainage and paving to mitigate flooding and improve mobility. In the Jardim Maristela neighborhood, crews repaired Rua Manuel de Faria Duque after heavy rains damaged the pavement during drainage installation. Paving works have since expanded to Rua Sebastião G. de Carvalho and other nearby streets, with additional paving scheduled for Jardim Rodrigues, Jardim Samambaia, and Vila Verde.
In the Três Marias neighborhood, a drainage project is underway involving 261 meters of network and 10 storm drains to reduce flooding on Rua Beira Sul and Rua Marte. Meanwhile, in Jardim Brasília, a R$ 6.8 million investment has been secured for integrated paving and drainage works. This project, to be executed by Construtora Jupiá Ltda under contract with Agesul, is expected to begin following the authorization of the service order and has a projected timeline of 360 days. Furthermore, the city is preparing for a bidding process to complete the canalization of Jardim Brasília, with work potentially starting in early 2027.
