Três Lagoas City Hall responds to investigation into municipal contracts

The Três Lagoas City Hall has issued a statement regarding an investigation conducted by the Special Action Group for the Repression of Organized Crime (GAECO) and the State Public Ministry. The inquiry focuses on four contracts signed between the municipality and companies linked to ‘Operação Máquinas de Areia’.

According to the administration, three of these contracts were active between 2017 and 2022, while a fourth contract was established through a bidding process in 2023 and is valid until August 2026. The City Hall emphasized that the contracts were signed during different periods and stated it will continue to operate normally while cooperating with authorities and respecting the legal process.
