Três Lagoas Civil Defense attends national meeting in Brasília

The Três Lagoas Civil Defense is participating in the II National Meeting of Municipal Civil Defenses held in Brasília. The event, hosted by the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM), brings together managers and technicians from across Brazil to strengthen municipal risk management and disaster response.

The meeting focuses on topics such as municipal planning for extreme weather events, social policies in disaster contexts, and the financing of municipal civil defense institutions. Local coordinator Celso José de Souza stated that the participation aims to acquire technical knowledge and successful practices from other municipalities to improve prevention and emergency response for the population of Três Lagoas.
