Três Lagoas completes major road paving and announces free transit
The City of Três Lagoas has completed 100% of the asphalt paving on Avenida Custódio Andrews, a key stretch connecting the Jardim Samambaia and Jardim das Primaveras neighborhoods. The project, which cost nearly R$ 6 million, also includes the full completion of 931 meters of rainwater drainage. Remaining works scheduled through January 2027 include accessible sidewalks, traffic signaling, landscaping, and the installation of a playground and outdoor gym.
In a separate announcement, the municipal government will provide free urban collective transport on Sunday, October 25, for the second round of the 2026 elections. The initiative aims to facilitate voter mobility. Buses will follow their standard routes and itineraries, and the city noted that no specific routes will be created to serve polling stations directly.
