Três Lagoas emergency teams respond to severe storm damage

A severe convective storm hit the municipality of Três Lagoas, prompting a major task force led by the Civil Defense and municipal authorities to manage the aftermath. Meteorological data recorded wind gusts of up to 60.8 km/h and 11.2 mm of rainfall.

The storm caused significant structural damage, including the collapse of a facade at the Três Lagoas Forum and damage to a shopping center currently under construction. Fallen trees and downed power lines were reported in several areas, including the vicinity of the Central Market, the Lagoa region, and Vila Nova.

Under the direction of Mayor Dr. Cassiano Maia, integrated teams from the Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure, Environment, and the Fire Department worked to clear debris, remove fallen trees from public roads, and restore safety for local circulation.
