Três Lagoas launches cleaning initiative in Vila Nova

The city of Três Lagoas has launched a cleaning initiative in the Vila Nova neighborhood, scheduled to run from August 17 to August 31. Coordinated by the Municipal Health Secretariat in partnership with the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Transport, and Traffic, the program provides skips at specific locations to facilitate the correct disposal of waste.

The initiative aims to combat arboviruses, leishmaniasis, and the proliferation of scorpions by removing items that collect water or provide shelter for pests, such as tires, cans, bottles, and old appliances. Residents are also encouraged to dispose of organic waste, including leaves, branches, and wood, as well as construction debris like tiles and bricks.
