Três Lagoas police investigate alleged obscene act at Lagoa Maior
A 21-year-old woman reported an elderly man to the Military Police for an alleged obscene act near the leisure track at Lagoa Maior, in the Interlagos neighborhood of Três Lagoas, on Wednesday morning.
The complainant stated that the man attempted to hide behind a tree before exposing himself to urinate. She reported that she verbally warned him to stop, but he did not comply. The woman indicated she recorded the incident on her mobile phone to assist in the investigation.
The elderly man, who is not a resident of Três Lagoas, claimed he was only looking for a place to urinate and was unaware of any nearby restrooms. He stated he had no intention of causing offense or embarrassment. Police noted that the man appeared to have hearing difficulties, which may have affected his ability to understand the woman's warnings.
Both parties were taken to the Women's Assistance Police Station (DAM), where the incident was registered as an obscene act. The case has been forwarded to the 1st Civil Police Station for further investigation.
