Trás‑os‑Montes wine region showcased at UVVA festival in Amarante

The 2026 edition of UVVA – Universo do Vinho Verde Amarante – will take place from 24 to 26 July at the Claustro of the Amadeo de Souza‑Cardoso Museum of Modern Art in Amarante, Portugal. The event invites the Trás‑os‑Montes wine region as its main guest. Coordination is handled by the Regional Wine Commission of Trás‑os‑Montes (CVRTM), which will represent six local producers – Bago de Ouro, Casa José Pedro, Flandório, Vinhos Montalegre, Quinta das Corriças and Villela Seca.

During the three‑day programme visitors can meet the winemakers, participate in tastings and explore the wine, gastronomy and cultural heritage of the region. The festival aims to promote the identity and quality of Trás‑os‑Montes wines and strengthen collaboration among Portuguese wine territories.
