Publisher Tru Blu Games has officially announced Don Bradman Cricket Jr, a cartoon-style arcade cricket game. The title is slated for release on Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop, though a specific launch date has not yet been confirmed.
The game features various modes, including quick matches, tournaments, challenges, split-screen multiplayer, and AI battles. It will include 20 generic international teams and offers customizable match settings with independent difficulty levels for batting and bowling.
Players can unlock Sir Donald Bradman as the captain of a generic Australian team by completing the ‘Bradman Challenge Round’. This also unlocks a mini-game inspired by Bradman’s training method of hitting a golf ball against a water tank using a cricket stump. The game does not include other official team or player licenses.
