Truck accidents reported on highways in São Paulo

Two separate truck accidents occurred on highways in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

In Itu, a truck carrying a load of hamburgers overturned on the SP-075 highway after the driver lost control. Some of the cargo was scattered across the road. The driver sustained only minor injuries and declined hospital treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

In Itapetininga, a semi-trailer carrying diesel fuel overturned on the SP-127 highway. The vehicle hit the central median, resulting in a partial fuel spill that was contained by rescue teams. The driver was treated for minor injuries and taken to a local hospital. Cetesb was called to manage environmental measures, and the left lane was closed for the cargo transfer and vehicle removal.
