Truck and minibus collide on Hungarian highway near Sárvár

A small truck and a minibus crashed head‑on on the 84‑numbered main road near Sárvár, Hungary, between kilometre markers 65 and 66. Three occupants were trapped in the vehicles; one passenger in the truck and two of the five minibus passengers remained stuck, while one passenger managed to exit. Rescue crews from the Sárvár fire department began extracting the trapped occupants, and the accident prompted a full road closure while the operation continued.

The incident was reported by the national disaster protection agency on Wednesday, citing the need for continued traffic diversion until the vehicles could be cleared and the site made safe.
