Truck and Trailer Flip Causes Major Traffic Jam in Ho Chi Minh City

A truck carrying a trailer (lu) overturned on Trần Văn Giàu street in the Tân Tạo ward of Ho Chi Minh City on July 30. The overturned trailer spilled oil onto the roadway, creating a slippery surface and triggering a local traffic jam as many vehicles were traveling at the time.

Police traffic unit Phú Lâm responded, diverting traffic, deploying a specialized crane to pull the trailer to the road shoulder, and cleaning the oil spill with sand. By the afternoon the scene was cleared and normal traffic flow resumed.
